I didn't think the demo was that bad...This is great. Yeah the "legion" said XBL couldn't do dedicated servers, or we wouldn't have 50 player, and stuff...Swallow a bag of wrong. Thanks
It amazes me how people hate on a great product. Halo3 is great. I mean the entire Halo series has just been a blast to play and enjoy. The very fact that people calling this game and that game a Halo killer is dumb. Here is one reason why R2 is not a Halo killer. Because as a series it hasn't done what the Halo series has done. The first game you can't even compare to Halo 1, so just on that alone it isn't better. Secondly R2 is coming out a year after Halo 3, so now it has to beat it in sal...
The fact that they are going in a new direction, have had time to really get their act together no reason why this game can't be golden. Just have to see, but they are working hard and plan on innovating so that's a great thing.
The worst part about all this is, that the total unit sales is still in favor of the 360, that 230 just pushed it closer to 20 mill...Go spin that and tell us about our year head start. Then go and explain the Wii leaving everyone in thier dust...Big picture...Sony is still behind...360 just got a boost for more sales...It's a marathon not a sprint...One month means only one month...pay attention.
Why do people find it hard to believe that Microsoft would have shortages. They've been selling lots of systems, it's not like companies pull them out their ass. You also have to keep in mind that they also could be looking to drop a new SKU, or want to clear the inventory that is out there...This isn't some conspiracy. PS3 Legion is really tripping, and they way they are acting when this all backfires it's going to be really bad. You better hope the whole year is like this...Sad for only one...
Looking at the overall picture of their estimates it all makes sense. In the long run they are doing better buisness than the PS3. One month isn't going to hurt anyone. Sony has to show they can sustain this momemtum. the 360 has yet to see a severe price drop like the PS3, or as many SKUs to experiement with the audience. Sony has done everything it can to get to this point. So I guess Microsoft will make some interesting moves. GDC is next week. I'ma get my "Popcorn ready"...lol.....
So I guess it won't be long before we see Microsoft announce a Blu-Ray player for the Xbox 360. I also think we will see an Xbox SKU with Blu-Ray annouced before the end of this year...
So how much does that bring the actual total units so far of all three consoles sold? Can somebody put up those #'s. That $100 dollar price drop actually is starting to pay off. Oh and is the PS3 still selling at a loss? Just would like to know what the big picture is...
No matter what happens the 360 is going to keep that 2007 momemtum going. I remember last year everyone kept saying "we already know their line-up, nothing special or new to announce". Last year was about performance, this year feels like a relaunch in some ways. They'll be on their second wind so it's going to be fun to see what they have to reveal. Then you know they have E3, X08, so they can keep building momentum for this year. At this point I don't think looking at the "Le...
This game is coming in the Fall, and it's gonna be huge. One thing Microsoft has done well is culitvate their hit titles. The last Fable game did very well despite the misclaims. You also have to understand that Fable 2 has been in development for a while. Peter isn't some hack creator, but he is a talker. So Microsoft keeping him focused can only mean huge dividends for 360 owners and future players. They also have a second game in development. With GTA4 coming Microsoft will give that game ...
You know what people don't pay attention to on this site Time. You have Sony fans talking about their line-up for 2008 being better than the 360. Fine let's say that it is, you do know that most of them are all rehashes from previous generations right??? You also know that half of the games that have sold well for the 360 are mainly new IP's right. Bioshock, Halo series, Mass Effect, Gears of War, and some others. Now let's look at that for a second. Mass Effects first game came out in 2007 a...
I don't think many of you were reading the article right. It clearly states based on thier warranty estimates most of the issues come with the first mother board, and not the Falcon chipset, or the Jasper chipset...Which would yield I know people have purchased the newer, and quieter drives and have no issues. Before this generation is over this will just be 2008 issue. I suspect more for a legion of haters than gamers...
Xbot thanks...rational minds know whats been going down. Everyone knows the state of the PS3, and #'s don't lie. The more they hate the worse karma is going to be for them. Someone posted the #'s for the last MGS title and it's been selling less and less each iteration. I do believe this one will be a quality title like the others, but it's not going to impact what people buy on the 360 this year. We also have to keep in mind that the exclusives on the PS3 are all rehashes from previous genea...
Yeah I planned on getting the elite but I'm going to wait and see if they have a price drop and a new model. I'm waiting till holiday 2009 to pick up a PS3. I really need to be sure that I'll have a real library of good games for the system. Right now the 360 got'em beat so I'm rocking with it now...
I just think people don't want to be insulated like they used to with PC games. It's alot easier for a person to go into a broswer play a game and leave. Have other tabs open etc. Games like WoW are exceptions because there is a community aspect that allows for more interation with other people within the game. Gears is similar on the console, so is COD4 to a certain extent. My brother is playing Gears and has added new people to his freind list. Add to the fact that they are talking about th...
